eXroid Procedure Video

1.

Your eXroid Practitioner will insert a new proctoscope and gently rest a probe on the base of the haemorrhoid(s) present for between 4-10 minutes each.

2.

The device generates a small current, which stimulates a chemical reaction in the haemorrhoid, sealing off the feeding blood vessel. This results in the haemorrhoid being starved of its blood supply and it shrinks accordingly.

3.

Some patients feel immediate relief following the procedure with the effect of the treatment continuing to work over the following 4 weeks, at which point our aftercare team will be in touch to discuss symptom changes and see if any further treatments are required.

4.

There is no cutting, stitching or heat applied, meaning no anaesthetic, which are some of the main reasons our treatment is considered low risk & the has the lowest post-procedure pain levels.
